Mel Bound

Founder

& CEO

A multi award winning community leader, tech-for-good entrepreneur and running coach, Mel is the architect of the TWR community and creator of the Run30™ programme; she leads on community strategy, technology, programme design and impact.

She is recognised by Meta as being in the Top 16 most impactful community leaders in the world.

Mel is also a Non Executive Director at Sport England and a Steering Group member of IWG Womens and Girls.

Nicky Affleck

Chief Operating Officer

Nicky is an award-winning leader with repeated success in growing strategic partnerships and delivering transformational change in the grassroots sport and community sport sectors.

She is a passionate team player with a strong coaching leadership style and brings over 15 years of strategic and operational expertise and excellence from local and national partners, funders, and stakeholders including The London Mayor’s Office & Sport England. Nicky leads on areas of Organizational Development and Strategic Partnerships.

Emily Thompson

Communities Manager

With a wealth of experience in social media and community management and a Business Awards Finalist, Emily thrives on creating meaningful connection and a sense of belonging through digital communities.

Collaborative and highly creative, Emily leads on all things community, content and growth across digital channels; and supports a global network of 50+ community leaders and 600 local volunteers to grow their communities through local marketing activation and engagement campaigns.

Jasmine Catto

With a law degree and a specialised background in identifying and engaging audiences in the Women’s Sports sphere, Jasmine brings a unique blend of passion, innovation, and commercial insight to This Woman Runs.

She excels at understanding target demographics and fostering impactful brand partnerships within the industry. Passionate about connecting with people, Jasmine thrives on building meaningful relationships and uses these skills to manage accounts across community engagement and strategic partnerships.
