This Mum Runs is governed by a Board of Directors. The Board’s role is to set and oversee strategic direction; they monitor the delivery of strategic objectives, uphold our values and governance, and hold to account and advise the CEO. The Board is chaired by Jennie Hill and meets formally four times each year.

Operational decisions about This Mum Runs are made by This Mum Runs’ CEO, and are supported by the operational team.

Purpose and Objectives

This Mum Runs’ vision is to empower all women to enjoy the life-changing benefits of being active. We will achieve this by creating meaningful connections for women that enable them to support each other to be more active, more often, for life. We promote women’s participation in running by:

organising and promoting free weekly runs and;
creating opportunities for members of the community to both participate in and volunteer at weekly runs;
creating, curating and managing digital communities for women to connect, interact with, support and inspire each other to be more regularly active;
creating and managing a proprietary mobile platform that houses coaching programmes and community spaces that inspire and enable women to be more regularly active.
